Thanksgiving
Posted on November 26, 2009 - Filed Under Personal Enrichment

Today is Thanksgiving, and here is my journal page of gratitude. My children are clever and extremely cute. My husband is talented, funny and works really hard. Even my dog is fabulous, and after his haircut has real fancy pants. None of us are sick or even close to it. We have a house, and all the things we need. All of us have curiosity, and for that I am most grateful. My mother is alive, clever, happy and healthy, as are my siblings. My community is safe and pretty. All that bothers me right now are temporary things, nuisances.
Today I will boot out all the negatives and invite in the positives. I will turn the me channel way down. I will breathe in gratitude, and appreciate the life around me that many, many people would give anything to have. Today I will appreciated every single person who takes a chance on me, and shows up to my classes. For you I am ever grateful.
Happy Thanksgiving, to each and every one.

What a gorgeous journal page, Jill! And can I steal the line, “I will turn the me channel way down.”? It’s brilliant.
I want to thank YOU for being such a great teacher, too.
Happy belated Thanksgiving!
