Come on down to Hampton, Virginia to Art & Soul. There is still time to sign up for lots of classes, including mine! My classes are Sumptuous Sumi and Other Stories, and Five Books in One Day. Why should you take my classes, you ask? Well, I will teach you about color, paper, layers, sumi and combining everything on paper without changing the nature of the paper. Meaning, the paper feels the same and works the same as it did before you painted it. You can use this paper for anything at all, including origami dog houses.

The book class is fast and furious. We make five structures, and talk about artists’ books, and the nature of that genre. For me, a book is not a book until it has content, and that is very big in what I teach. No blank books. These books all have lots of uses and ways to tell stories, so come on down and try it! I am excited to be teaching there with so many talented people, so I will be the one hopping up and down!
