Artfest Projects

I worked my hind-end off. Really I did. Got up as the sun was coming up, and leapt right in. Walk on the beach, back to the art.

Here is my first project, before I hooked it all together. It was “Symbols Shaping Space” with Katie Kendrick.

My Friday class was chosen by the girl who lives here. She is ten, and loves dolls. It was Cotton Spun Dolls with Michael Jon Peterson. He is funny.

This Kabuki Bird Whisperer doll will end up with an edgy mask, and a raven on her head. Stay tuned.

The last class was play time. A half-hour of instruction and off we go to the races. LK Ludwig “Wire Mesh Sampler Portfolio”. The face was cut out with contact paper, and I used it twice. The second one has small lines between the features, and “No Details”. I love working with metal, and this class was just right. No stress, just cut, paste, spray and rinse. Sounds like a beauty parlor.
