My kids were in their school Songbirds Concert last week. It was one of those parenting evenings that forgives the challenging moments of the rest of the week. I was all puffed up with pride in my little darlings. The cuteness factor was soaring, and especially here. Sam played the bass guitar for the first time in front of about 400 people. I was so impressed, I know you will be!

I asked him later how it was, up there in front of everybody. He said “I felt a thousand glittering eyes of the girls looking at me. I thought I would like that, but it was kind of creepy.” I can feel them too, those thousand glittering eyes…..

OMG… I’m actually nervous watching him! When I was that age, it was bats in my stomach as opposed to butterflies and unfortunately for my mom as well as those at a recital, swimming lessons, a play…I always got sick.

He looks amazing Jill… I would’ve been just as proud.
