Spies in Bloom

Posted on December 11, 2008 - Filed Under Uncategorized

After math homework today, we decorated up some glasses for what began as a spy play. When they came down to my studio, the kids were enticed by the bag of flowers left over from the Shrine Sisters party, so we ended up with three bloomin’ spies who are now practicing Christmas carols for their play. What could it be called? Singing Spies in Bloom? Magical Musical Moles? Angelic Agents A-flower? Whatever it is called, the routine is making paper tickets and selling them to the parents, who are ushered in to the family room for dramatic theater. This time they have included the kids next door, kindergarten twins and a second-grader. Should get high critical marks. I can hear them upstairs singing “O Christmas Tree” in German. This doozy will have international appeal along with the the intrigue of secret agents. Check your local theater listing….
