RAEvN’s Nest Art Retreat
Posted on January 19, 2008 - Filed Under Uncategorized
One of the exciting things I will do in 2008 is teach at the RAEvN’s Nest Art Retreat. It is organized by Kim Rae Nugent, who just wrote a book for North Light that will be out in the fall. She asked me to contribute and the stakes were high! I found it challenging, scary, and delightful working on the projects she designed for us. She finished the book, and now she is creating this retreat in her home state of Wisconsin. Kim is energetic and wildly creative, and surrounds herself with talented people and family, for that matter. The list of classes is impressive, so much so that I want to take them all. This is the kind of thing that fills us all up, and in this case the retreat will be small enough to make it possible to really meet the teachers and participants. And, it is a stunning venue.

Congratulations on your blog! It is beautiful. I love the way it is set up. It inspires me to work some more on mine.
It is nice to hear your take on my retreat – especially about it’s size. “the retreat will be small enough to make it possible to really meet the teachers and participants”. Yes that is exactly what I have in mind.
