Mapping my Way

Somehow the maps I make are so often surrounded by the sea.

There are also rivers, for floating, boating and making water music.

Tributaries that lead to larger waterways, new lands and adventures.

  1. I love this work of art. I would love to see how you made it. Did is start as handmade paper with the strings already in it? It’s wonderful.

  2. Possibly used a gelli plate to print own patterns on tissue paper which was then torn into small squares. Ridges could be twine glued under the tissue. Soft gel may have been used to put it together. I love it…very inspiring.
