Portland Art & Soul Blogroll: Day 1

Posted by on Aug 19, 2013 in Giveaway! | 6 comments

One of the places I am teaching this fall is Portland, Oregon for Art & Soul, a large retreat that has been around for years.

The venue is right on the Columbia River. Last year my students all faced the river in our classroom. We took long walks along the water at the end of the day.

This post is to introduce you to five other teachers who are teaching there, and to entice you to check it out. At the end of the week I will post my four classes and give you a chance at a giveaway, a mixed-media box of goodies and a copy of the Sketchbook Project that you can fill with arty goodness.

Here is the blogroll schedule.

August 19 Serena Barton: Giveaway here!
August 20 Clarissa Callesen
August 21 Liz Kettle : Giveaway here!
August 22 Jen Crossley and Barbara Worth Rainey who has a video HERE.
August 23 Jill Berry Blog: Giveaway here!

The rules are that you need to leave a comment on the blog of the giveaways you want to participate in.

Giveaways are happening throughout the week, check in on each blog.

The winner for my giveaway will be chosen randomly on August 24th.

Good Luck!

  1. I love your book ‘Personal Geographies’, and I hope to take one of your classes, though I won’t be able to do the Art and Soul this year.

    • Sandra, thank you so much! Glad you stopped by.

  2. I’m a day early!!! Looking forward to your post on Art and Soul. I’ve taken several of your classes in the past few years at A&S in Portland – and loved them all! Looking forward to this year! Thanks.

    • Not early Janet, just in time!

  3. I can’t wait for Portland Art and Soul. This is my first year and I signed up for several of your classes! So excited! Thank you Jane!

  4. Hope this is the spot to leave a comment to win the prize.
Looking forward to taking your Map to Happy class at Art and Soul.
