TEXTures Stencil Launch and Giveaway!

I have exciting news!

I have been busy, and one of the things I have been doing is designing stencils for Artistcellar. Their stencils are both beautifully made and designed,  and I am excited to be the first of their “Artist Signature Series.”

My stencil set is called “TEXTures”. There are four stencils, all made from my calligraphy, which is pretty much letters telling a story that might not be legible. They are meant to add text and texture to your pages or projects that might need some storytelling.

The four styles are Runes, Roadmap, Rivermap and Romans. Each one is based on my abstracted calligraphic works that you can see on my website.

Runes are playful symbols that I invented, that can represent anything you like.

Romans is bit of poetry in the style I use in my journals, which is Roman letters using a flat brush.

Rivermap is a fluid map of the rivers near my house, done in a flowing style with a ruling pen.

Roadmap is text of a trip I took through the desert, at night.

This post is a part of a two week blog hop.
