Back from the Dead and San Diego

My mother’s painting. Isn’t it grand?

My website and this blog have been down for ten days. It has been horrendous. My host, StartLogic, took the site down without even sending me an email. Needless to say, I would tell you not to do business with them.

Last week I taught a class in San Diego, and it was magnificent. We painted pages based on the work of Hundertwasser and Wayne Thiebaud, then deconstructed the page and fit it into a hard cover with a small shadow box at the fore edge.

Here is the class.

Some important classes are coming up.

October 1-7, 2012 Portland, Art & Soul retreat. Journal texting and painting class, called “Under the Influence”, which is similar to the paintings in the slideshow above. Click HERE for info.

October 21-27, 2012  Taos, a week long retreat doing visual journaling. I have a huge house and studio for all of us, and lovely food.  Click HERE for info.

May 5-11, 2013, Orvieto, Italy. This is an amazing trip. You can see the post from the last time I went, we we filled with inspiration.  Click HERE for info.

There are lots more for 2013, including Humbolt, Tucson, Kansas City, Virginia Beach, New Zealand and Australia. Those will be listed on the workshop page in the next few days.

Get out there and get arty!
