Starting tomorrow, you can buy art and save a friend from the challenges of Breast Cancer.
Cloth, Paper, Scissors Magazine’s editor, Jennifer Mason, asked a bunch of us to do a piece of art that will be sold to benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Since I have dear friends and family members that have dealt with this disease, I am highly motivated to help. A few years ago I did the Avon 3-Day walk and raised $4200 for Breast Cancer Research, and had the experience of a lifetime. This time we will raise the big bucks selling art instead of getting blisters!
There is a spread in this month’s edition of CPS with some of the pieces donated by artists you likely know.
My piece is here. I call it “Village Path”. It is 8″ square, acrylic on a museum wrapped canvas. The selling price on Etsy is $100. A bargain, in my humble opinion. And there are lots more pieces to chose from!
So, head over to Etsy tomorrow when the bidding wars will begin. Support your friends, decorate your house, make people happy!
